Between baseball games and sharing stories, the textile industry really did bring the community of Belmont together. 

Baseball was a popular past time for the enitre town of Belmont. Many competed for their mill against opposing mill teams.

Another film capturing the excitment and community appeal that baseball had in Belmont.

Interviews with several mill workers from the Chronicle Mill about they life in the mill village and their job in the mills.

Songs, such as Cotton Mill Girl, during the 1930s spoke about the tough times during the textile industry. 

During the 1930s, textile strikes rocketed across the country. After several months tension finally broke with no improvements to the right of the workers.
